Job Description

Workshop is looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to help scale our infrastructure that sends millions of customer emails. We are on pace to substantially grow this year, but need a motivated engineer to help bring our platform to the next level.

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will:

  • Work to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure that is responsible for creating, sending, and measuring millions of customer emails
  • Work closely with our product engineering team to support and scale the release of new and existing product
  • Continuously improve our security and monitoring systems so incidents are not only detected, but also prevented
  • Discuss infrastructure challenges and solutions with the CTO and other members of the team
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities

To be successful at this position, you will need to:

  • Have experience in orchestrating, scaling, and monitoring cloud based production services on platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Be able to manage system dependencies and upgrades with containerization technology
  • Be passionate about optimizing and automating systems when you can
  • Care about details and sweat the small things when it comes to the resiliency, scalability, and security of the platform
  • Be flexible and pragmatic and enjoy helping a small team get a big job done
