The Role:
This highly visible and impactful Account Executive (AE) role will drive revenue growth and expand the customer base of the organization by finding and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective customers, and closing sales deals. You’ll be one of the first boots on the ground closing big deals and defining what great looks like in our go-to-market motion. We’re looking for a builder, someone who can turn signals into deals and deals into revenue.
What you will do:
- Work with modern AI and prospecting tools to identify top prospect accounts, conduct live outreach, and follow up on identified leads to qualify, build, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Be on the front line of qualifying and understanding CISO, CIO, CTO and AI leader’s business challenges and goals around AI governance and their fragmented AI tools ecosystem to position the company as a trusted partner, and close ICP opportunities.
- Develop deep relationships with CISOs, CIO, CTOs, Directors of Security, and AI leadership and governance roles in addition to their teams.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to educate, differentiate and clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products and services to prospective customers.
- Manage complex sales processes and your sales pipeline including RFP responses, technical evaluations, procurement and contract negotiation to provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and deliver integrated solutions to customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7+ years in software field sales with a penchant for the field of AI security, governance and transformation
- Experience with sales cycles in large, complex commercial accounts
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding $1M annual quotas
- Ability to build trusted advisory relationships with technical and executive stakeholders
- Startup-ready: you move fast and figure things out in a positive cultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to align outcomes to customer objectives, objection handle, close plan and quantify ROI in the sales process
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close sales deals
- A focus on aligning customer goals with technology outcomes, ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and articulate value propositions effectively
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

OTE range: $225k - $300k
