The Role

As a BDR, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by generating qualified leads and establishing initial contact with potential customers. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads through various outreach channels and collaborating closely with the sales team to drive the sales pipeline forward. The goal for this role is to start closing deals after the first six months with an eventual transition to an Account Executive role.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential clients in the advertising and marketing industry through targeted research, lead generation tools, and networking platforms.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to engage with potential customers and create interest in our advertising tech solutions.
  • Qualify leads by conducting thorough needs assessments, understanding their pain points, and aligning our products/services to their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies, messaging, and value propositions for lead generation and follow-up activities.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience selling software or relevant product in the advertising, CPG or marketing space
  • Experience with tech-startups is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effectively assess technical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
