The Role

This is a department-leading role for a hands-on marketer who's ready to own it. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead brand marketing for Bizzy — executing against a clear brand identity and bringing it to life across every channel and consumer touchpoint. We have a strong brand foundation (voice, visual identity, messaging framework — the bones are solid). What we need now is someone who can run with it: building campaigns, driving retail growth, and connecting with our community in ways that are ambitious, relatable, and real.

This role is 100% onsite. We build things together, in person.

What You'll Do

Brand Execution & Stewardship

  • Own day-to-day brand marketing execution with our Marketing Manager and Sr. Designer, ensuring consistency across retail, digital, social, and experiential channels
  • Work within our established brand guide to produce content and campaigns that hit the right tone — whether that's Inspire, Relate, Inform, or Excite
  • Protect and evolve the brand as we scale, keeping craft and quality at the center of everything

Consumer Marketing & Campaigns

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, trial, and loyalty at retail
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches and seasonal moments
  • Build and manage always-on content strategies across social and digital platforms — leaning into short-form, visual-first storytelling where it counts

Consumer Insights & Voice of the Consumer

  • Own consumer intelligence for Bizzy — building the foundational profiles, personas, and segmentation that fuel every campaign, creative brief, and retail strategy
  • Design and execute primary and secondary research that keeps us close to our consumer: who they are, what drives them, and why they reach for Bizzy in the cold case
  • Turn data and real consumer feedback into sharp, actionable insights the whole team can build from
  • Establish an always-on voice of the consumer program — social listening, in-store intercepts, surveys — so our brand decisions are always rooted in truth
  • Champion the consumer's perspective across every function, ensuring their voice shapes product, packaging, messaging, and retail execution

Retail & Shopper Marketing

  • Partner closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales team to develop retail programs, trade marketing, and in-store activations that convert
  • Connect consumer insights directly to shopper marketing strategy — ensuring how we show up in the cold case earns the grab

Community & Brand Love

  • Grow and engage our community of Bizzy People — building authentic relationships through content, partnerships, and activations
  • Identify and manage influencer, ambassador, and brand partnership opportunities that align with our voice and values

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and develop a lean marketing team, fostering a Dream Team culture: positive, collaborative, and honest
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations — and report directly to the CEO — to keep marketing aligned with business priorities
  • Manage the marketing budget with an ROI mindset and a bias toward action

Qualifications
  • 6–10 years of brand or consumer marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of a marketing function
  • CPG, food & beverage, or lifestyle brand experience is a must — refrigerated commodity experience is a big plus
  • Fluency in both brand strategy and hands-on execution (this role requires both)
  • Strong creative instincts and an eye for what's on-brand vs. off
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment — you build the plane while flying it
  • Excellent communicator and natural collaborator
  • Bachelor's degree required
