About The Role
Bizzy Coffee is seeking a highly motivated and execution-focused Regional Sales Director to drive growth across the Central & West Region. This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record in broker management, promotional strategy, and key account execution within retail grocery.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, highly organized, and comfortable operating across a broad and established territory with multiple distributors and broker partners. They must be capable of independently managing priorities, maintaining strong alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring that plans translate effectively into in-market execution. This role will lead broker relationships, customer engagement, and pricing/promotional strategy, with a focus on driving distribution, velocity, and overall account performance. The Regional Sales Director reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Full Ownership & Accountability: Lead all aspects of the go-to-market strategy for the region, ensuring consistent execution and follow-through across accounts, brokers, and distributor partners.
- Market & Partner Leadership: Bring a strong understanding of the region, including key retailers, distributor partners, and broker networks, and how to effectively navigate this ecosystem. Build and maintain strong working relationships across stakeholders, align on priorities and promotional plans, and provide clear direction to broker partners to ensure alignment on objectives and key initiatives.
- Execution & In-Market Performance: Maintain visibility into in-market performance, working closely with brokers, distributors, and customers to ensure promotional activity, merchandising, and distribution plans are executed as intended.
- Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute account-level sales plans, focused on expanding distribution, improving velocity, and strengthening overall account performance.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage syndicated data to analyze sales trends, identify opportunities, optimize trade spend, and support customer-facing recommendations.
- Promotional Planning & Negotiation: Lead the planning and execution of pricing and promotional strategies, partnering with retailers and brokers to ensure alignment and effective in-market execution.
- Communication & Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead clear, consistent communication with retail buyers, broker teams, distributor partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
- Business Planning & P&L Management: Conduct regular reviews of customer performance and P&L, identifying opportunities to drive both top- and bottom-line growth.
- Industry & Competitive Insights: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and retail dynamics to inform strategy and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience managing key retail grocery accounts and distributors across the region in CPG, preferably within refrigerated dairy/juice/coffee or similarly complex retail categories.
- Demonstrated experience working within distributor and broker-led go-to-market models, with a clear
- understanding of how to drive results across these systems.
- Proven ability to independently manage a high volume of accounts, partners, and priorities with strong organizational systems and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging syndicated data (Spins, Nielsen, IRI, Panel) to inform strategy, support customer recommendations, and evaluate performance.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead effective, customer-facing discussions.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Organization & Location
- Reports to the Vice President of Sales.
- Open to candidates located across the Central and Western U.S., with proximity to a major airport and ability to travel regularly throughout the region.
