Companies are continuing to invest earlier and more aggressively in Strategy & Operations teams, and this shift isn't slowing down any time soon. We are now seeking the right individuals to help take advantage of this exciting opportunity that lies ahead.
Elate is looking for a Senior Sales Development Manager to help drive growth through our multiple GTM channels, helping to generate marketing and sales-qualified leads that will turn into opportunities, and ultimately, closed business. You will be responsible for building and executing pipeline-building strategies while developing, coaching, and leading a team of Sales Development Representatives.
This role will be a foundational team member, working directly alongside the entire revenue leadership team to help cultivate and shape the success of the Sales Development teams. You will be joining Elate on the ground floor of a venture-backed software startup, and be given the opportunity to see firsthand what it looks like to scale a high-growth company. This role isn’t just a traditional Sales Development opportunity, as you will have exposure to working directly with our CEO to execute strategic initiatives, develop go-to-market strategies, and identify new opportunities that advance the company.
You understand the impact that you'll create on the bottom line, playing one of the most vital roles in the company. The day-to-day role includes collaboration with the wider sales, marketing, and customer experience teams, market research to identify new potential customers and leads, and qualification of these leads by learning about their approach to Strategic Planning today.
What to Expect
Cultivate Sales Development Team Culture | Lead, motivate, and coach a Sales Development team by fostering a culture of accountability and growth, while enabling a path for career development.
Build & Execute Demand Generation Campaigns | Design, build, and manage outbound ABM & inbound lead generation sequences for target accounts and exceed weekly activity metrics to book introductory meetings for our Sales Team.
Enhance Team Productivity | Continuously evaluate and improve SDR workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and conversion rates.
Set and Track Performance Metrics | Use data to track team KPIs and provide actionable insights, making adjustments to achieve revenue targets.
Emphasize Continued Education | Maintain an in-depth understanding of the market, customers, and competition, while staying on top of tools, techniques, and trends within the industry.

Experience
Proven track record in sales development or demand generation for a B2B company, ideally in the SaaS industry
3+ years of experience in sales development or demand generation roles, with a strong understanding of lead generation channels, strategies, and campaigns including email marketing, calling sequences, and LinkedIn outreach
At least 1+ years of successfully managing or leading a Sales or Sales Development team
Proficiency with CRM and Sales Development tools (HubSpot and Apollo.io experience is a plus).
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive shared goals
Exceptional organization, time-management, and planning skills with strong attention to detail
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
You are creative and think outside the box to generate new growth ideas and quickly take them to market
Startup or high-growth experience preferred, with a track record of managing through change and scaling teams.
