The Duolingo English Test is an alternative to traditional high-stakes testing — through a Duolingo-style experience: convenient, fast, and affordable. Students interested in studying abroad can certify their English with the Duolingo English Test instead of other standardized tests like the TOEFL and IELTS. We are looking for a creative and resourceful growth marketing leader to help accelerate our global growth. You’ll lead our consumer-facing growth marketing efforts in key international markets.
You Will...
- Own growth through global growth marketing campaigns and manage a team of growth marketers who will collectively own DET’s paid media efforts in key international markets (China, India, Rest of Asia, Latin America, etc)
- Be willing to own parts of the portfolio yourself: identify and prioritize new opportunities to scale our acquisition efforts sustainably
- Lead day-to-day communication with agencies, third-party vendors, and key partners (e.g. resolve issues, document challenges, build roadmaps)
- Develop and evolve our attribution model and marketing tech infrastructure
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to turn growth marketing data into meaningful insights
- Set and track performance for paid and growth marketing, and support performance analysis of brand marketing efforts
You Have...
- 10+ years of digital marketing experience, with extensive knowledge of the web marketing ecosystem and media landscape
- 4+ years experience managing other digital and performance marketers
- Experience growing consumer-facing products in international markets
- Proven ability to independently manage media partnerships and ad campaigns, backed by a successful track record of achieving results with creative, budget-friendly strategies
- Highly proficient in data analysis and visualization with a deep understanding of the consumer funnel, capable of projecting campaign performance and business impact
- Significant experience with marketing tech, especially web attribution
- Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- STEM or a degree in a quantitative or analytical field
Exceptional Candidates Will Have...
- Experience studying abroad and familiarity with the English testing market
- In-depth knowledge of global, localized marketing campaigns
- Experience working asynchronously with teams across time zones
We invest in and support our Duos! This role is eligible for a robust compensation package of base salary, equity, and Duolingo’s world-class benefits. The starting base salary range for this role is, $126,200 - $259,900. Actual salary may vary based on level, work experience, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.
