The Role
We’re hiring a Yield Manager to optimize monetization and revenue yield across our growing portfolio of mobile apps. This is a highly strategic and analytical role that will work cross-functionally with product, data and analytics, growth, and advertising partners to ensure Mode is maximizing revenue opportunities across inventory and audiences.
The Yield Manager will be responsible for identifying and executing yield optimization strategies, managing pricing floors and demand sources, analyzing performance, and driving data-informed decisions that grow total and per-user revenue.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role with significant visibility and upside—ideal for someone with strong adtech experience and a bias for driving measurable results.
Who You Are and What You’ll Do
- Develop and own Mode’s yield strategy across display, video, offers, and other monetization surfaces.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize revenue and margin performance across direct and programmatic demand sources.
- Manage and optimize pricing floors, inventory rules, and demand partner settings to increase revenue yield.
- Design reward structures for incentivized game and app installs.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on promotions and events to drive user engagement and conversion.
- Partner with product and engineering to identify and prioritize opportunities for inventory improvements, new monetization mechanics, or fill rate enhancements.
- Work closely with analytics and finance to develop reporting frameworks and forecast revenue impacts of yield decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with key demand partners and SSPs to ensure competitive performance and surface new monetization opportunities.
- Continuously experiment with demand configuration, auction mechanics, and ad stack architecture to improve monetization.
What You Bring to the Team
- 4–7 years of experience in yield management, ad operations, programmatic monetization, or a related role at a media, mobile, or adtech company.
- Experience working with SSPs, ad servers, mediation platforms, header-bidding, and auction-based monetization strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep comfort working in Excel, SQL, and BI tools, and strong familiarity with Mixpanel, Prebid, Singular, Firebase, MAX and other related ad-centric tools.
- Proven track record of optimizing monetization performance and delivering incremental revenue.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, data-driven, and fully remote environment.
- Experience with reward-based apps, mobile inventory, or international user monetization is a plus.
