Great design solves customer problems, drives business success, and creates intuitive, delightful experiences. As a Product Design Manager, you'll lead and support a team of designers, helping them grow in their careers while delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.You’ll coach and mentor designers, provide feedback to strengthen their craft, and foster an environment of learning and growth. In this role, you’ll also partner closely with cross-functional teams to align design efforts with business objectives, ensuring we create experiences that drive impact.

What your day could consist of:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer stakeholders—to develop and iterate on products and initiatives.
  • Work closely with Product leadership to contribute to the roadmap, backlogs, and prioritization efforts.
  • Translate business goals and product strategy into thoughtful design solutions that drive customer and business impact.
  • Support and mentor designers, providing guidance to help them grow in their craft and careers.
  • Facilitate design discussions to align teams, encourage feedback, and ensure clarity in execution.
  • Critique and guide design work to uphold quality, consistency, and feasibility across projects.
  • Ensure projects stay on track, meeting milestones and deadlines while balancing team capacity.
  • Advocate for a strong user experience, leveraging customer feedback, usability insights, and data to inform design decisions.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, improving efficiency, consistency, and the overall product experience.

What is needed:

  • Strong foundation in Product Design & Product Thinking, with a track record of designing user-centric, impactful experiences.
  • Leadership and communication skills that foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience managing trade-offs and balancing business and user needs.
  • 5+ years of experience in design, with prior experience mentoring or managing designers.
  • Ability to guide and support a team, providing feedback, career growth opportunities, and design direction.
  • Project management skills, ensuring work stays on track and meets deadlines.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and emerging AI-driven design tools
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality design execution
  • A self-starter, growth mindset, driven by curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, effectively communicating design decisions to stakeholders
This is an exciting time to join ActiveCampaign as we build out our new office in Poland. You will be a large part of developing our office culture in this new Krakow hub location.
