Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

We are currently seeking an experienced and accomplished Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Campaigns/Sending Reliability team. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high growth environment with rapidly evolving needs. This individual will provide technical leadership in the areas of quality and automation, driving solutions for our expanding business needs.

What your day could consist of:

  • Creating and/or building upon automated E2E test suites to validate that our sending engine and related components are functioning properly.
  • Implementing an automated testing strategy with daily tests across multiple services and aggregating data to report on test success/failures/flapping.
  • Ensuring our CI/CD releases are fast, high quality and low friction by integrating automated test suites with our CI/CD pipeline
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Product, Security, & DevOps.
  • Documenting bugs and providing steps to reproduce them.
  • Pairing with Engineers for code reviews and debugging as necessary.

What is needed:

  • Skill/experience in one or more of Selenium, Java, JavaScript, or PHP, including knowledge and experience with test automation frameworks. Knowledge of the Playwright framework is a plus.
  • Experience with writing UI & API automation and testing including understanding of manual and automated test execution, performance and reporting.
  • Skill/experience with test validation and debugging.
  • Experience in defining and promoting test automation best practices, standards, and processes amongst engineers and other SDETs.
  • Must be comfortable communicating with peers and cross functional partners in the organization
  • An understanding of how to leverage technology to deliver increased value. We're looking for someone who can help find the weak points in our testing frameworks and processes and recommend technologies and/or tooling to close those gaps.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
